1. What is Million Dollar Thumbs

Million Dollar Thumbs (milliondollarthumbs.com) is a YouTube creator discovery grid. Creators claim slots to display their video thumbnail, allowing viewers to discover new channels. The platform is designed to help new YouTube creators grow their audience and reach monetisation milestones.

By claiming a slot, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy below.

2. Who can claim a slot

You must:

Be the owner or authorised representative of the YouTube channel you're promoting
Have a publicly accessible YouTube channel with at least one public video
Provide a valid email address you have access to
Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental consent if under 18

One slot per channel per page. You may claim one slot on the main grid and one slot on each niche page.

3. Content rules

Your video thumbnail and channel must not contain or promote:

Adult, explicit, or sexually suggestive content
Hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting individuals or groups
Violence, gore, or content designed to shock or disturb
Spam, misleading thumbnails, or clickbait that misrepresents the video content
Content that violates YouTube's own Community Guidelines
Illegal products, services, or activities
Content that impersonates other creators or brands

You may not use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to extract, copy, or republish content from this platform including thumbnails, creator data, or slot information without our explicit written permission.

By claiming a slot, you confirm that your content complies with these rules and YouTube's Community Guidelines. If your content changes to violate these rules after claiming, you are responsible for updating or removing your slot.

4. Our right to remove slots

We reserve the right to remove any slot at any time, at our sole discretion, for any reason including but not limited to:

Violation of these content rules
Reports from visitors or YouTube that the content is inappropriate
The associated YouTube video or channel being removed or made private
Suspected spam, bot activity, or abuse of the platform
The slot being inactive or the channel having no recent uploads (for dynamic slots)

Where possible we will notify you by email before removing a slot. We are not obligated to provide a reason for removal.

5. Free slots and future pricing

Slots are currently free during our launch period. This is subject to change. We may introduce paid tiers in the future.

If and when we introduce pricing:

We will notify existing free slot holders by email with reasonable advance notice
Free slots may be transitioned to a free tier with reduced visibility, or converted to a paid product
No creator will be charged without explicit consent and a separate purchase action
Existing free slots will not be automatically billed

Claiming a free slot now does not guarantee free access in perpetuity. The platform is in active development and terms may evolve.

6. Data we collect and how we use it

When you claim a slot we collect:

Your name — used to personalise communications
Your email address — used to send your dashboard login link, notifications about your slot, and (with your consent) our weekly digest
Your YouTube channel URL and channel ID — used to display your thumbnail on the grid and (for dynamic slots) fetch your latest video automatically
Your video information — title, thumbnail, channel name — fetched from YouTube's public API

We also collect:

Click data — anonymous click counts per video, per page, with IP-based deduplication. No personally identifiable visitor data is stored.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising. We store your data in Supabase (a secure PostgreSQL database) hosted on infrastructure that complies with industry-standard security practices.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at hello@milliondollarthumbs.com. Deletion of your account data will also remove your slot from the grid.

7. Emails we send

By claiming a slot you will receive:

Welcome email — sent once when your slot goes live, containing your dashboard login link
Slot notifications — important updates about your slot (e.g. expiry warnings, content issues)

With your explicit consent at claim time, you may also receive:

Weekly creator digest — a curated email of new creators on the grid in your chosen niches. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by visiting your preferences page.

We send emails via Resend (resend.com). Their privacy policy applies to email delivery. We will never send spam or share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.

8. Liability and disclaimers

Million Dollar Thumbs is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee:

Any specific number of clicks, views, or subscribers resulting from your slot
Continuous uptime or availability of the platform
That your slot will remain live indefinitely

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in partnership with YouTube or Google. YouTube thumbnails and video data are retrieved via YouTube's public Data API under their terms of service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Million Dollar Thumbs shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. During the free launch period this is zero.

10. Content features and reviews

By claiming a slot on Million Dollar Thumbs, you grant us permission to feature, review, discuss, or share your video thumbnail and channel in our marketing materials, social media, and YouTube channel. This includes thumbnail critiques, creator spotlights, and other content formats that reference creators on the grid.

Being featured is entirely at our discretion. We may provide constructive feedback on your thumbnail or content. Any coverage is intended to support discovery of your channel, not to disparage you or your content.

If you would prefer not to be featured, you can contact us at support@milliondollarthumbs.com and we will respect your request.

11. Intellectual property

The Million Dollar Thumbs name, logo, website design, layout, code, and all original content on this platform are the intellectual property of Million Dollar Thumbs and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of this platform — including its design, code, or written content — without our explicit written permission.

You may not use the Million Dollar Thumbs name, logo, or branding in any way that implies endorsement, affiliation, or partnership without written consent.

Individual YouTube thumbnails and video content displayed on this platform remain the intellectual property of their respective creators. Million Dollar Thumbs claims no ownership over creator-submitted content.
